MINI x VANGUARD MAGAZINE
MINI explores the nature of self-confidence and self-sufficiency. By isolating each model so they can only interact with themselves, each photograph creates a new world where they are allowed to take up space. However, in each image there is a strong sense of isolation, the entrapment of having enough confidence to stand on your own also leaves you with very little external support. The confident woman rarely feels the support of the world around her, trapped in a space in between success and loneliness.

MISLAY x CVLTARTES
MisLAY is an exploration of memory. No inherent good or evil can ever be pinned down, yet our brain plays tricks on us; highlighting memories in different shades, painting them in different light. I wanted to present a summary of a younger version of myself, one I don’t remember well. But I have fragments of memories, of body positions, of sprawling urges. This photography collection showcases four models, each contorted in their own world. MisLAY expresses the bittersweet feeling of losing memories, of holding fragments, of moving forward.
