My name is Dahlia Hellerstein. I look forward to being connected.
A bit about me: I’m 20 years old. Born and raised in California, and now live happily in London where I am training to be a filmmaker at the London Film Academy.
My professional dream is to bring stories to life as a Director of Photography. I want to be known for working hard, creating aligned teams, and offering creative and cost-effective solutions to what emerges on set. Currently, I have the privilege to practice all of that as a DOP and camera assistant on multiple student and professional film sets. These experiences have helped me refine both my technical proficiency and creative vision, preparing me to contribute meaningfully to the film industry.
I have developed a strong technical foundation across a range of equipment, including ARRI cameras and lighting systems, as well as Sony, Canon, and Blackmagic technologies. My personal kit includes a Sony FX3 paired with a variety of lenses, allowing me flexibility and creative control in my projects.
